5 PRO tips to Get Published in a Fashion Magazine

1 HIGH QUALITY MATERIAL

make sure to send us professional photos. The qualities of photos published in magazines may vary depending on the type of magazine and their editorial style. However, in general, magazines publish high-quality, sharp, well-defined photos with saturated colors and appropriate lighting.Your work's quality should be well defined.Good quality work will help you get valuable appraisals .Avoid sending pictures taken with a mobile phone

2 COMPLETE INFORMATION

You must add team and clothing credits(where applicable). In particular, while submitting your work in a fashion magazine, make sure that it is wholesome of what you are trying to present. A proper analysis should be done on how the editor will perceive information.

3 DO NOT WATERMARK YOUR IMAGES

Watermarks are added to images conventionally to prevent theft. It's a long debate about whether your image should be watermarked or not, but we are not getting into that!

If you want to get selected in one go, we would suggest you not add a watermark in your images as it makes your pictures tacky and distracting.  You don't need to worry as somewhere in the publication, you will be given credits for being a photographer.

4 FOLLOW A PHOTO THEME

A photographic project is a set of photographs that have been taken following a specific theme or objective. We often get very nice photos but from different types of shoots and we are forced not to accept them.To avoid this happening, we recommend that you send us photos from the same photo project so as to ensure consistency .The photographs must be connected by a common thread, which can be a subject, an idea, a colour, an emotion or anything else that is relevant to the project. Consistency is important because it gives meaning and significance to the entire series of photographs. Another important aspect of a photo project is its visual narrative. A well-crafted series of photographs must tell a story or convey a message clearly and effectively.
